Ranger (kitty) image previews not working

extra/python-pillow 11.0.0-1 (850.4 KiB 4.2 MiB) (Installed)

any ideas? $TERM is set to xterm-kitty.

Is the image preview method in your ranger’s rc.conf file set to kitty?

Edit: and what version of imagemagick you have installed?

Yup, as I said, worked last week, not this.

set preview_images true
set preview_images_method kitty

3 extra/imagemagick 7.1.1.41-1 (8.7 MiB 23.0 MiB) (Installed)

But that is irrelevant - it uses python-pillow.
