Question about window management in LXQt

Is there a built in keyboard shortcut to maximize a window? I’m not sure if that’s an Lxqt question or an openbox question but I haven’t been able to figure this out.

I really like this light weight desktop except for the lack of being able to toggle a maximized window with a keyboard shortcut. I thought a simple quick fix would be to use kwin as the window manager. That got me the maximize functionality but it made my workspaces disappear.

So is there a best practice to add the window maximize keyboard shortcut that doesn’t conflict with other default keyboard shortcuts? I would prefer to stick to openbox as the window manager but I can use kwin if someone knows how to get the workspaces back.

Any help with this is much appreciated.

Openbox allows you to create keybindings. The documentation to create keybindings is here:
http://openbox.org/wiki/Help:Bindings

The list of available actions is here:

Great, that gets me going. Thank you.
