Does anyone know what packages are required foe qtile wayland?
Currently when I select qtile wayland I cannot get past the login screen
At the very least, you will need to install python-pywlroots and start with qtile start -b wayland (try from a TTY if you don’t have a login wrapper script set up).
In addition to that, there is a thread here that may be worth reading through. It looks like a running discussion of known gotchas, and other hacking around that may be needed to get it working.
