Fresh EOS install on my new laptop (Slimbook EVO 14 AMD Ryzen AI9 365) and I see weird purple “blinks” when I scroll up and down on Firefox (but I imagine on any app window, haven’t downloaded anything else yet).
Here a picture to illustrate the problem :
I used the Welcome EOS window tool to update all arch/aur/eos package and I think (but not sure) that my AMD drivers are installed and up to date from the installer or the different updates tools in the Welcome EOS window.
Any clue of what my cause those weird blinks ?
I also had this on CachyOS and switched to EOS to see if I had the same issue. But with CachyOS I had to install the OS in nomodeset as all other boot options from the ISO file freezes upon reaching desktop (mouse freezes, often black screen). I red that for CachyOS it could be a problem with the AMD Ryzen.
