Anyone get Project M working? I love the visuals. I’ve got the *.milk files and ‘preset’ folders in the use/share/projectm/ folder.
This is the error message I get when removing the ‘git’ version and replacing it with 3.1.12-5 versions in the directory.

Any help would be appreciated. . . .

Try:

sudo pacman -Rdd projectm-git
sudo pacman -S projectm

If it complains about existing files add --overwrite='*' to the end.

Follow the instructions in the error message:

pacman -R projectm-presets-cream-of-the-crop projectm-git
pacman -S projectm

According to the project page, “Newer releases will ship with the “Cream of the Crop” pack and others.”

Look at the note at the bottom of the page regarding milkdrop textures.
