that thing is locked in there. I’m sure something would get damaged. be more sensible to damage to plug instead of the port b/c cable will be easy to replace. food for thought.
I am a cord-in-the-wall guy so I have no more real knowledge of wifi. But a Forum search showed me about 3 articles that more or less mimicked yours:
