Problems with installation

Hi, I am a newbie to Endeavour OS and would like to try it on my PC - I can boot from a live USB and to try it everything seems fine but when I come to try and install it after reboot the initial screen is broken up into a few lines of coloured pixels. And from there I cannot get into Endeavour as I cannot login. Seems like a graphics issue maybe but as I am new to this distro I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated
My System
DELL 9020
Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Memory: 23.4 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti/PCIe/SSE2
Thanks John

Hello @jwhal

Did you use the non free grub menu entry on the live ISO to install from? Other wise it installs with the open source nouveau driver.

Edit: Looks like you have a Hybrid graphics laptop also.

Thanks for your reply - I will give it a go.
The Dell 9020 is a desktop.
thanks, John

Thanks for the welcome

Okay then if it’s a desktop you should be good to go.

Edit: The non free menu entry will install the Nvidia drivers.

Edit: If you haven’t done it yet you can install the Nvidia drivers from a TTY screen. Just hit ctrl alt f2 and log in as root.

then install the nvidia drivers

sudo nvidia-installer-dkms
