Are you trying to use wayland in virtualbox?
Do you have this set in your env?

Nope i am trying to start Virtualbox and audacious, but my computer crashed in the middle of an update and now i have a half borked system so wondering how i easiest can try to fix it and yeah @dalto having that in my env
If it is bootable, you should finish the update
sudo pacman -Syu
Done that, but it did not help 
Did you try running it in bash instead of fish for texting purposes?
i solved my problem, i had to reinstall the qt5-base package and a lot of other packages that was broken
