Problem Double Screen

Hi guys,

I have been using EOS for 1 year and for 2 days I have been updating to the latest version.
So KDE 6 arrives in my package and since this installation, my EOS does not recognize my second screen (HDMI connection from a laptop) + this update breaks my OS the first time because I had to connect my HDMI to have something on my screen and if I unplug the HDMI I lose all display, so I reinstall EOS from the bootable USB stick and I still have no display on my second screen

The drivers are up to date and the command with xrandr only displays one screen.
However, if I use a bootable key and load Debian or KDE NEON, I have a dual display on my two screens. So I think EndeavorOS hasn’t updated the graphics drivers?

Here are my characteristics:
I7 9750H
Nvidia 1660 TI
32Gb ram
MSI Gf75 Thin 9SD

Yours sincerely

Did you reinstall using the nvidia option in the menu?

Edit: Post the output

inxi -Ga

Edit: Since you reinstalled did you try logging in with X11 instead of Wayland?

Hello, thank you for your answer,

When I reinstalled I tried 2 options: 1 without nvidia option and 1 with nvidia option and it was the same

Here is Output of the inxi-Ga command (i’m logged of Wayland Session actually)

I using Wayland when i login
But Yes exactly if i using X11 i got double display

Have you checked under setting, display to see if anything can be changed or set that helps?

Edit: Just want to be sure i understand. You have two monitors and only one displaying when using wayland but both work on X11?

I check all setting… but i don’t wanna take risk without advice to modificate a file from system

And Yes you have understand my problem

i had never see this problem since i upgrade my EOS and KDE 6 coming

I never using wayland before. All time since 1 years i got X11

So i guess wayland caus all problem x)

I use Wayland on both desktops but i don’t have dual monitors set up. I’m going to have to try this myself one of these days. Do you have both monitors connected to the Nvidia graphics card?

Hi. Sorry for the late

On my laptop I have one monitor integred in (like all laptop) and I have one connectic HDMI who I plug HDMI for second monitor (so yes i using nvidia graphic card for second monitor and i think too my principal monitor using too nvidia

Did you have soluce ?
