maclean-git? wow I forgot it was in AUR. I’ve been using the (non-installed) github standalone app from the first day he announced it here. always amazed at the GBs it frees up.

@dirn does the Ventoy program do it with less fuss than their online install mmm journey?
The changes I made were before the recent fiasco. Nothing I can really trim down without changing apps. While I can get rid of Nitrogen and gtk2 its not worth it really as I use Nitrogen for my wallpaper app instead of using LXQT native.

Online install mmm journey? What’s that? I’ve never used it.
Personally, I find Ventoy much easier since I’ve been using it for six years. I just dump a few Linux distro ISOs and a Windows 10 ISO onto a single USB drive and I’m good to go.
you format your USB. at ventoy site search in vain for the iso install package which they insists exists for linux but it does not most since it’s a magic ‘linux’ .exe inside the targz…, then desperately rummage through a 5 foot pile of redundant online documentation til you find the ill-written online install instructions then an after a while it will work.
That’s the Ventoy journey. It’s a yearly ibuprofen-pilgraimage I participate in having not known a better way :). That’s why I asked.
Ya, their online doc is not really user friendly.
I just use -i option when I first format my pendrive.
-u option when updating.
rsync or cp iso image into the usb or copy and paste the iso using dolphin.
Mine after a bit of pruning. Much like @thefrog, nothing I can really trim down without changing apps.
