Positioning dual monitors on Hyprland

I want to use Hyprland on my setup but I failed on positioning my monitors. Here’s my xrandr output:

And this is how it looks like in display settings of KDE Plasma:

The name of the left monitor is HDMI-A-2. It’s my second monitor and it’s not in same alignment with my primary monitor. It says “0,260” instead of “0,180”, as you can see. Resolution is 1600x900. Refresh rate is 60 Hz.

And the name of primary monitor is HDMI-A-1. Resolution is 1920x1080. Refresh rate is 144 Hz.

So, now what I need to type in monitor section in hyprland.conf ? Wiki page is not detailed enough so I didn’t get it. Thank you, in advance.

Bing AI solved it. :sweat_smile:

monitor=HDMI-A-1,1920x1080@144,1600x0,1
monitor=HDMI-A-2,1600x900@60,0x260,1

I checked it but I couldn’t figure out how to pull the left monitor down according to this. “0x0 off from the top left corner” confused me a little bit.

I don’t use Hyperland. I wouldn’t mind trying some time if i could figure it out.

Does it help you?
monitor=eDP-1, 1920x1080@60hz, 1600x0, 1
workspace=eDP-1,1
monitor=HDMI-A-1, 1600x900@59.9hz, 0x0, 1
workspace=HDMI-A-1,2

You can move windows to workplaces by Super+Shift + 1 or 2
(This vertical offset is not clear for me or maybe in floating mode makes some sense)
edit:
Someone used a HDMI as primary above the laptop + secondary laptop monitor:

monitor=HDMI-A-1, 1600x900@59.9hz, 0x0, 1
workspace=HDMI-A-1,1
monitor=eDP-1, 1920x1080@60hz, 0x900, 1
workspace=eDP-1,2

In case using mouse it moves less than with horizontal arrangement.
