They are free to choose any service they wish, not just the ones approved by the undemocratically elected eu government

Let’s not get into this, alright?
Let’s just say your reply is lacking every factual backing and leave it at that.

We don’t want to be spied by the US.

Did you vote for these eu leaders or did your country leaders vote for the Eu leaders?

If I’m wrong I’m not ashamed to say so. Tell me the truth of it

Fair is fair. But can’t the marketplace decide that for itself by consumers choosing products that don’t spy on them?

Better to be spied on by your own country after all.

My assertion is only that there is less free will choice to make because the government has decided it to be so not because the people have decided it to be so.

Again, not getting into it, England (not Britain) have made their bed. Now let’s work for Scottish independence.

That’s why we have the EU…

The EU is magnitudes more consumer friendly than American and has proven so over and over again.
The Market is an illusion, since the actual customers for corporations are the share holders. Not the consumers. Consumers are a tool used by Corporations to keep their actual customers, the share holders, happy. A corporation’s ONLY purpose is to keep it’s share holders happy.

That’s we have regulations for Capitalism, so we no longer have say Child Labor, and we HAVE vacations and 8 hour instead of 12 hour work days etc.

I live in America and I’m all for not being spied in by the us govt. simple fact is that I can’t buy eu services unless I live in the eu. I know because I have tried.

Just FYI brexit was a foregone conclusion. Everyone and their brother has tried to reunite europe since the fall of pagan roman empire and failed. fun fact, my bible clearly states that it will never be so again and that everyone and their brother will try.

i’ve been to europe. great place. Lived on an army post for two year in furth germany from 1989 to 1991. good times at the 98th general hospital. loved the heffe weissen.

I guessed that…

By the way, certain US newspapers can’t be opened in the EU, because of privacy violations by those. I am okay not to read them.
