I updated as fast as i could. 
Yesterday, I force refresh for the mirrors to be able to see KDE 6.7.4. System update and reboot fine.

You have a plugin for that to disable it.
That plugin (officially a extension) is probably this one.
Yes, that break as soon as GNOME updates itself, which may not happen much, but it happens.

Soon as X11 is removed from KDE, then I want to try this Windows Manager:
Kind of bumming in Niri and Hyprland for now (Gnome is my backup if I break my desktop).
This looks great, never heard of it but sure i might try this out on my test notebook.
But first i want to finish the doom the dark ages story.
I’m going through the bug list in the KineticWE database now. My initial assessment is 2 things need to happen before I test it:
- KDE completes removing X11 and merges the code.
- Give KinteicWE time to see how they handle the volume of bugs.
Pretty much KDE moves quite fast. Stability is boss in my environment now.
