Give it a few more minutes, it’s definitely pulling through.
I updated. . . and my system couldn’t connect to the internet. . . Kwin the problem? I used snapper and reloaded my system back to previous snapshot and it’s running now. This the update you’re referring to?

My internet connection was completely borked. . . . .

I’m also having problems connecting to the Internet using my Ethernet connection. Using the Wireless connection everything works.
Edit: rebooted and all is good. It was a case of something somewhere not working. 
Had the same issue after the linux firmware update a few days ago. Powered off the system completely (to clear the loaded firmware). Worked fine after the cold boot.
After a second reboot all is good now

I just re-downloaded and installed 60 files. . . . After a reboot everything is now working. . . .

I had an issue where the updating of the mirrors was taking way too long, but it seems there is a problem with the Los Angeles USA mirror, so I deleted from the mirror list (it was on top) and all is back to normal now.
Updated and rebooted, all is well
