Another post here as I’m still new to Arch and Endeavour, I am having issues with my SoundBlaster AE-5 Plus and getting it to recognize my headphones as plugged in. I get sound through the sound test and it shows the same in my audio settings and in pavucontrol separately. The card shows up in alsamixer, but as I am unable to set the unplugged port as default, I will have to manually set the sound in sound settings for each program I start. I’ve seen a few different threads here about this issue but it hasn’t been solved on any of them, and I am unable to find a fix anywhere else I look.
I have tried restarting my computer, unplugging and plugging back in my headphones, checking everything in alsamixer, adjusting settings in pavucontrol, and I feel like the only solution I can think of is possibly just forcing pipewire or wireplumber to stop detecting the headphone jack as unplugged through a file, but I am not savvy enough to figure that out on my own as of current.
