Was on the town and there was something stinging in my shoe. Took shoe off and stingy thing did not come out so checked the sole. Found this thing gone straight through.

What a beauty! Ford Model A? 
June 6th, 2024. One of my travel companions turned her knee and was having a rotten day at the Lourve. My wife suggested she borrow one of the complimentary wheelchairs and I volunteered to push. The waiting line to see the famous lady was ridiculous but the museum staff spotted the wheelchair, waived us to the front of the line, then took down the rope barricade so we could get even closer. Since I was pushing the chair, I took a one-handed drive-by shot with my phone. Perhaps she is a bit over-hyped, but it was still exciting getting close enough to touch her. I want to visit the Lourve again when it isn’t peak tourist season.

Damn, my late uncle used to have a Volga in dark blue! He used it to give joyrides for veterans on the May Day (it’s a custom in Finland to drive around with cars, especially old ones, on then).

Fontaine Petillante in Paris. Nice place to get some refreshment in warm day. Besides normal water you can have bubble water also. The bonus was blackbird who whistled dixie in nearby bushes. It was so absurd that I started to laugh…
