I think it is Japanese cherry (sakura).
Mr. Stone (Herra Kivi), the guardian of the Pyynikki Thermopylae clearing.
He is used there as a lifting weight on the outdoors gym. No one knows his origins, but they probably go to as far as the beginning of 20th century.
