Indeed.
Helping my mate clear out some trees here to make a nice little place to hide away from the summer heat, almost ran straight into the spider
An australian spider?

though we do get quite a few tourists, but pretty sure thats what this is
Typical Finnish coffee break, including the mug.
Before I put up all the winter panels to keep warm inside. this is an update on how the place looks. Never did find my door and windows but there is always next year

You’re getting there…
Electric heat or propane? How cold does your winters get?
Looks to be about the same size as my summer home.
I’m in Central Ohio so we can get pretty cold. I have both electric and propane. Sounds like a nice place
Thanks
First snow and both of our cars still have summer tires. Luckily it’s only nuoska, wet snow, so streets and roads are only wet and not covered in ice. Yet.
Tomorrow morning both cars are going to get winter tires underneath.
We have this saying in Finland that winter surprises drivers (it happens every year, in a country where snow and ice are nothing new), so let’s see how many crashes happens today.
We call such days “tinker’s day”
P.S. I “changed my shoes” yesterday
Today was first day when I woke my winter boots from their slumber. I usually use them whole winter, because you can easily use wool socks on them when it’s really cold.
