Pdfstudio INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME

Hi everybody
I want to test pdfstudio but I meet an issue :

$ pdfstudio
No suitable Java Virtual Machine could be found on your system.
The version of the JVM must be at least 9 and at most 19.
Please define INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME to point to a suitable JVM.

How can I define INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME ? thanks a lot

First you need to install the appropriate version of Java. That is a really specific version limitation.

Try installing jre17-openjdk

Then run archlinux-java set java-17-openjdk

thanks a lot,
yesterday I installed jr24, thus i try # archlinux-java set java-24-openjdk, that don’t work !
I remove jre-24 and install Jre-17 and that work !

Yes. Because:

The version of the JVM must be at least 9 and at most 19.

24 is not between 9 and 19 :slight_smile:
