Hi, so I set up my computer a couple months ago but some personal stuff came up and I haven’t been at my computer and I forgot my password and don’t know what to do. Please help, thank you
Did you use encryption? If so, there isn’t much you can do.
If not, you can reset a local password if you have physical access to the machine.
And how would I do that

Follow the instructions in the wiki to get a chroot.

From within the chroot run passwd <username> to change the password.
Then reboot. That is really all you need to do.
