Pamac-aur having issues during install?

yay -S pamac-aur this is what happens.

Compilation succeeded - 9 warning(s)
[31/88] Compiling C object src/pamac-daemon.p/meson-generated_daemon.c.o
ninja: build stopped: subcommand failed.
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

Doesn’t install, curious IF anyone else is having this issue?

Yeah, seems broken here.

For the record, it isn’t all that uncommon for pamac to broken on Arch.

@Christopher67
I just installed it the other day? I always use the git version

yay -S pamac and it’s #4

If you try it and it say’s packages to clean build put All. or A

Tried it, still broken, :disappointed:

I had issues building it recently. Ended up switching to pamac-all

Hmmm…

You’ll get the same problem. It is a problem with vala 0.52.0, pushed on March 17 in extra repository.

Fixed. Guinux add this patch: https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/pamac/-/commit/ac6d9d2c7607e83ee41ae5ddb6c997cdf8d090b6

I updated these packages on AUR:

  1. pamac-aur-git
  2. pamac-all-git
  3. pamac-all

For pamac-aur, I’m not the owner, so…
