Pakbak service?

While doing systemd-analyze blame, I found out that pakbak service is being started.

1 aur/pakbak-git 0.0.0-3 (+22 0.00) (Out-of-date: 2025-01-11) (Installed: 20190412-1)

I am not sure why I installed this aur package. Do I need it for pacman? Can I remove it safely?
Is there any alternate service needed?

Ah! I followed one of the tips from:

You said you installed this, because you found this on Wiki. So it was your choice to backup pacman DB in automatic way.

So it is you choice if you want to keep it or not.

I do not have pacman DB backup. So if things will get corrupted I will have to go through restore procedure described here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman/Restore_local_database
