Packages to CleanBuild?

The choices are [N]one [A]ll [Ab]ort [I]nstalled [No]tInstalled or (1 2 3,1-3, ^4). Honestly, I m not that sophisticated. I normally hit enter twice, and cross my fingers. Thinking about the [I], and [No] options they both seem like they would have advantages…For those Linux guru s out there; I d be interested in hearing how you approach, and choose between this set of options.

You only need to cleanbuild if it fails to build without it so None is, imo, the most appropriate choice by default.

You can also disable that menu if you don’t want it to ask you everytime.

So if I ran it with “None” option, and there were then errors, I could assume I need to run it with the clean build option? And I m assuming that s after the changes from the “None” option were undone, which is a whole other can of worms. If that s the case hitting enter and crossing my fingers seems par for the course

Yes.

Those options aren’t saved so you will be presented with them each time.
