Our predecessor, Antergos, started their journey in 2012 and ended the project in May 2019. Antergos built an impressive community around them, and when they ended their project, we were more than eager to build a new home for that community.
I think it is fair to say that we have succeeded in achieving that goal. After almost seven years, we are going to bow out of the Linux stage and pursue our own projects.
We understand that this decision comes as a shock to you, but we are not going to leave you empty-handed.
STS-134 was the last mission of the Space Shuttle Endeavour, so we thought this mission name was the best name to give it to our final release.
As I already stated, weāre not going to leave you empty-handed; the devs are going to make sure you can transition without any hassle.

Thankfully Iād just read a warning to new & young journalists about being taken in by press releases tomorrow, so I spotted it just from the topic title
Middle of the afternoon March 31 here so this was confusing until I got to the part where the author of the post stated; āEOS-to-Win11-tool (Preferred method)ā. Then a very bright light came onā¦
1- You had me. Itās still March 31st here so seeing this on Twitter out of the blue WHILE AT WORK literally made me have no air for 5 seconds.
2- Itās funny to see this post is literally half-assed and even has āLicenseā written 2 different ways. Seems like it was done with AI XD which is funny on itself.
I cant wait to give the 3rd party app ALL of this because thatāās how I roll. I will install Chrome just to be sure. Iām type O-negative. a Capricorn, and I made out with my friendās wife at a Journey concert in ā93. I need the app to know itās me.
The EOS-to-Win11-tool was weird and suspicious, but a sudden and shameless sellout still felt plausible enough at first glance. That sucks; oh well, time to move to archā¦
But the paywall in the EOS-to-Linux-tool was just too much to believe xD
