I am trying to install the Opera browser on my laptop but, I do not know how to install it after downloading the file.
I have been using the Endevour OS for about 3 months now and I love it! The Arch Endevour OS is really so good!
You can install it from the AUR with yay -S opera
However, you really should consider if you actually want to use Opera. It is owned by one of the most disreputable organizations imaginable.
We often talk about companies “shady” behavior but Opera is at a whole different level.

Wow - just a generic search on Opera was littered with posts about its so-called “business” practices.

Opera is so 2010s.

As an alternative to Opera, Vivaldi is similar. The CEO of Vivaldi Technologies was the co-founder and CEO of Opera and there are others from Opera that joined him. To install it, you can do
yay -S vivaldi

I entered:
yay -S vivaldi
And I got an error message 404.
Do you think that it is because the server is unavailable temporarily? Or that I most likely made an error on my side? (Most like an error on my side.)
Also, I would like to say that I am a third year computer student. And I have been writing small scripts in C++
It is already evident to me that building, maintaining and updating an operating system service like this is a very difficult task that requires a huge team of experienced developers collaborating from all over the world.
So, I want to thank you all seniors for being an inspiration to me. I want to be a good developer soon enough so that I can contribute to this community through code and monetary payments.
When I use the Endeavour OS, It gives me the feeling that if I ever build any kind of software, it should be of this level of efficiency and quality. I feel very proud to use it and also recommend it if I had to make any kind of recommendations.
Lastly, thank you for advising me to not use the Opera browser. I will not use the Opera browser!

yay or sudo pacman -Syu should do the trick. Those happen usually when you need to refresh the repos. Since you refresh the repos, you might as well update the system.

The Vivaldi browser was successfully downloaded and installed.
