OpenRGB acts strangely with Logitech and ARGB

Hi everyone!

I installed OpenRGB recently and everything was working at first. But after 5 minutes of configuring rgb on my devices I noticed that instead of my mouse (G502 wireless) I have G915 keyboard although my mouse is in support list of OpenRGB.

Also when I was configuring ARGB on my motherboard (MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus) I noticed that cable to MoBo and GPU don’t work on all length (photo will be below)

Should I open an issue or anyone knows how to fix this?

I would open an issue…

First: Try openrgb-git to see if it’s fixed there (this is recommended by openrgb)
Second: If that does not fix the problem, document everything in your system and submit a normal bug report.

Also: try changing to different headers (if you can) to see if that corrects your problem.

Thanks for the answer! I’ll try to plug the cables into a different argb header. Maybe it will help.

But about a mouse ig I’ll open an issue

You are welcome!!! I have had my issues (fixed by using openrgb-git)…Once openrgb is set up & running well, it’s great… Getting there is the main issue…

I forgot to mention I did install git version of openrgb. But it didn’t fix any of those.

So the only way now is to create a new issue…

Not a problem…did switching RGB headers have any effect?

I guess it did… But I think it was OpenRGB’s fault because when I chose Static mode instead of Direct all cables’ ARGB has started to work
