 there is nothing to do

Hi y’all.
First the yay question: what’s a reasonable time to wait for an AUR package update? or when should one uninstall and walk away? 3-19 was the last balena update.

Second, the pacman question: should I let the little dracut thing work itself out? or do I need to take action?

that’s all, thanks!

If you have multiple kernels installed, you should downgrade it with pacman -Syuu

It depends on the situation. You need to look into why it is out of date. For that matter, if it is out of date.

pacman -Q linux
linux 6.14.9.arch1-1

Just one installed.

As for etcher, outside of a broken symlink no real comments on that thing since February. So if its upstream I can skip the research and just install the up-to-date balena-etcher-bin package.
