NVidia sleep/suspend issue

Hi there,

I have looked extensively for a solution to this issue across the forum and internet, but thought I would aslk directly in case I missed an alternative answer.

In EOS when you have NVidia drivers your monitors go to sleep with the computer and do not wake again with the computer.

There are many ‘solutions’ online but they all say the same thing, stop your computer from going to sleep. Is there anything to be done to make it so you can acutally use EOS or is there no way to get NVidia to work with arch in that way?

Hi, thanks for the response, I think this is for when it wont go to sleep or suspend properly, but the problem is that the monitors dont turn back on properly, but the computer suspends/sleeps and wakes correctly, so this fix is for a different problem, and I think I have tried all the things they talk about.

Appreciate the help though.

OK, this is the issue, but do I just change the line in the file?

This is why people hate the arch wiki, there is always a missing step, you are assumed to know.

Hopefully, the param setting they want is in the same file?
