No black screen after fresh install ?
Without context, there’s really no answer to be given. For example, I have a Nvidia GPU and never had any such issue.

I have also never had issues with Nvidia on EOS. I have used recommended option for newer cards and installion has gone always smoothly.

Black screens ? Never had those with my installs and i am using linux since 2021. I have a nvidia card as well.
