Hello.
I’m a newcomer (Windows 10 → Ubuntu → Endeavour os) and so far i absolutely love it. Thankfully i separated /home to it’s own partition what makes distro hopping so much easier. To the question now:
On Ubuntu, i had Nvidia drivers installed by default and there was the X Server Settings app that let me change some settings for individual monitors / displays. Among those settings were also color profiles. The issue is everything looks more colorful than on windows and as darkmode user, everything is darker that i’m used to. I would love to change same setting as i did on Ubuntu in Nvidia X Server Settings app to normal color profile. I don’t know why but by default on both, Ubuntu and Endeavour, the color profile is more saturated i guess. I’m not gonna lie, it looks amazing when watching movie but for normal work it doesn’t look as good, or better to say, i’m not used to it.
I installed nvidia drivers through nvidia-inst
and rebooted. Now i have the X Server Settings app but there isnt as much options as i found on Ubuntu back then. Currently it looks like this:
My issue was also discussed here and i obviously tried the solution (switching to X11) but it didn’t change the amount of options.
Does anyone have idea why i still don’t see more settings in the X Server Settings app even on X11?
