I have no clue really, im quite alright with just reinstalling OS’s as it doesnt take a huge chunk of time for me
Have you tried installing the file now and post the output.
sudo pacman -S lib32-nvidia-utils
It probably wasn’t necessary to reinstall but it’s hard to know exactly what you’ve done and what you are doing unless we also see the output of everything. So re-installing is not a bad thing because it gives you a place to start from. You know exactly where you are and then take everything one step at a time. It’s also an opportunity to learn when things go south.
Edit: It’s most likely when you installed Steam there was a dependency issue that needed to be dealt with in the proper way. So installing the package before installing Steam is why i recommended doing that.
