When you installed steam did you notice if it replaced that lib32 file with another? It is working though so Iām not concerned.
Edit: Or did you not install it in the first place?
As you can see it was explicitly installed. So not sure why itās not showing. Did you install it or no?

Needs to be run without sudo, lol
It must be installed then. Maybe you made a mistake i the command
pacman -Qi lib32-nvidia-utils
Okay then ā¦ watch what you use sudo for. Never use it with yay.
Edit: Always pay attention to the output when updating or installing a package or what ever. This is very helpful.
Yeh always tells me off with yay ill be careful, it must have been checking root for a package along that line installed and couldnt find it? I dunno im not too well versed in how pacman works just yet
Im still unsure what was causing my black screens thenā¦only other things i did was install gamemode, mangohub and protonup-qt
Use man commands such as man pacman
or look at the wiki on the arch page.
Not sure but could be something with these? Donāt really know. Youā'll have to watch what you do when you install stuff and check before moving on to the next thing.
This discussion is making me wonder if I can fix the black screen by uninstalling Steam related stuff. That could very much work, right?
Its worth a try, i went nuclear and just reinstalled the OS
