So this isn’t directly an issue with EOS, but using the Qogir Dark icon theme supplied, there’s a really odd bug with the caps lock / numlock widget :
Essentially it shows blank square when it should show Caps/Numlock status. Is there any way to work around this issue? It’s unlikely to be fixed any time soon.
Hmm…That’s interesting. I just checked, and it works as expected on my Plasma setup. Maybe try re-installing the theme?
Yeah I experience that too, - So here’s the weird thing, - if you log out and back in again after changing your icon theme, it will break, - so there’s a potential that something’s being cached in memory when the theme gets changed, so it’s not fully switched. (Just guessing!).
I wondered about that, so I logged out and back in just to check before posting. I’ll try rebooting and report back.

Caps lock still shows up. I’m wondering if it’s an issue with your theme. I’m currently using Breeze Twilight, which uses a mix of elements.
I can confirm it is working for me also. I logged in and out as well still works.
So weird, so I log out and back in EOS, Plasma Wayland :
If I then go to Settings and re-apply the theme, it bizarrely starts working :

Literally a fresh install of EOS today… 
I’d be surprised if it was anything to do with crud from legacy configs given my rig’s just been nuked from orbit.
Are you using the default Breeze Dark EndeavourOS global theme? I’d suggest trying one of the other dark variants and see if you still have the issue.
Yep! I am. Good call. I’ll play around with this and see if it’s specific to how that theme fails-over. (Generally system-tray widget icons should fall back to a default icon set if their own theme doesn’t contain the icon needed).
