Nuked my entire system while uninstalling Steam

I had a black screen when launching Steam, i tried reinstalling, i then tried reinstalling my nvidia drivers (specifically to install lib32-nvidia-tools but it was installed already) and I’m now stuck booting at “[ OK ] Reached target Graphical Interface” with no other errors or anything.

Additionally if i crank up logging to 5 I get “API: : failed to evaluate _DSM (long UUID) rev:0 func:(random num) (0x1001)” after networking stuff, and I have no internet even if i try to set it up manually. If i run iwctl it waits permanently for IWD to start and if i start it manually it says its connected, yet there’s no internet.
If i try to start X11 manually i get “symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libharfbuzz.so.0: undefined symbol FT_Get_Transform”

The only relevant thing is that I updated yesterday before going to bed, but my PC was still working fine for today. At some point after reinstalling Steam and Nvidia my entire PC locked up. Trying to shut down my PC via the Plasma start menu just never popped up the log off prompt or anything. Additionally, i tried to install the flatpak version of Steam right before i noticed the system locked up and I started GNOME Software since I prefer it over Discover but it gave me a weird notification I don’t remember, and installing Discover (somehow Konsole still worked), Discover just didn’t start. I had to hard reset my PC to restart.
I already tried the October fix.
Additionally, a fix from 2 years ago for Steam i saw mentioned installing a slightly older version of freetype2 and i tried it as well before the system locked up, I’m not sure its relevant. I can’t exactly upgrade it back since somehow it killed my internet
I tried re-reinstalling nvidia drivers using yay since it kept a local copy but it didn’t work

I’m not sure what to do. I can’t exactly chroot into the system since the EndeavourOS live install never lets me install anything due to a “File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/(package) is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)” error that always ends in “failed commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package)”
I’m pretty sure that freetype2 downgrade is breaking the system, but I’m not 100% sure

Just delete everything in /var/cache/pacman/pkg/* and try again. And post the complete output of the command here incl. the command itself.

Interestingly enough I’m now getting a bunch of errors when i try to chroot and run pacman -S

join: /dev/fd/63: No such file or directory
comm: /dev/fd/62: No such file or directory
Error, do this: mount -t proc proc /proc
lscpu: failed ot determine number of CPUs: /sys/devices/system/cpu/possible: No such file or directory
tee: /tmp/tmp.1Pxv6PFx62/29734: No such file or directory
comm: /dev/fd/62: No such file or directory

I’ve decided to downgrade to Windows since the post since I can’t risk accidentally breaking things on my main PC, sorry for wasting your time!
I still have Endeavour on my laptop though. I’m not sure why but installing packages via chroot always breaks for me even on a base Arch install xD
