Notification Sounds?

Made the switch to EndeavourOS xfce4 (from Windows) and I’m having a blast so far. However, I can’t seem to find out how to add sounds to my system notifications.
Essentially just a custom sound to play on every system notification I receive. I’m not interested in any other system sounds.

I’ve enabled “event sounds” under “Appearance” , but where do I go from here?

Anyone who know?

Could you show the output of commands

pacman -Q | grep -P 'pulse|pipewire'

$ pacman -Q | grep -P ‘pulse|pipewire’
gst-plugin-pipewire 1:1.2.3-1
libpipewire 1:1.2.3-1
libpulse 17.0-3
pipewire 1:1.2.3-1
pipewire-alsa 1:1.2.3-1
pipewire-audio 1:1.2.3-1
pipewire-jack 1:1.2.3-1
pipewire-pulse 1:1.2.3-1
xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin 0.4.8-1

In addition to those I have pulseaudio too. Does that help?

You’re not going to get this with Xfce. The xfce4-notifyd daemon does not support sounds. I use sound events all the time with my Xfce system, but I have to live without notification sounds. For now, I use my phone via KDE Connect to give me sound for my notifications.
