Hello,
I used EOS with KDE for about a year without any unsolvable problem out of the box, until recently when I lost my connection to WLAN using the previously working Intel Centrino Wireless-1000 card (iwlwifi driver) on my laptop.
I guess the issue came after an update of the system, but I am not sure since I updated often.
The command “rfkill list” delivers:
0: phy0: wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
while “inxi -Na” lists the wireless card name, driver, speed, etc…
Available SSIDs are listed properly, the password of my WLAN is correctly entered, just no connection and blocked at “Configuring interface”… not possible to connect to any other WLAN either.
No problem via LAN.
I am at lost and so despaired that my favorite distro let me down right now.
Can anyone points me to what I should check please?
Cheers!
