The situation is like this: I have 3 EndevourOS systems on 3 Dell Latitudes of different ages. The OSes come from the very first Endeavour iso, applying only the updates/upgrades since then. All 3 systems are identical (cloned).
Now, I don’t really know when it happened, as FF is not my default, but I should say everything was fine 10 days ago.
What’s puzzling me, is that the no sound issue occurs ONLY on 1 of my systems. & this happens to be my main one. The other 2 weren’t affected. Any help & guidance most appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Some system info etc would be handy here I think

That was the culprit, thanks. Now, I wonder why this has happened with Firefox, Librewolf & Floorp at the same time & on one out of three laptops!!!
