No servers are configured for the repository

Hi. I’m just updated the system and then reboot it.
When I prompted “sudo pacman -Syu” I received
”no se han podido sincronizar todas las bases de datos (no hay servidores configurados para el repositorio)” (Not all databases could be synchronized (no servers are configured for the repository)
mirrorlist file looks ok, but I don’t know what’s the problem.
Any help is welcome, thanks

@gustavo.fiorentini welcome to the forum! :purple_heart:
There might be two reasons for this.

  1. The known problems with the AUR.
  2. A temporary problem with one of your mirrors.

Please rerun the command sudo pacman -Syu and post the complete output as formatted text.

Hi marteng69, thank you for your reply.

:: Sincronizando las bases de datos de los paquetes…
error: no se han podido sincronizar todas las bases de datos (no hay servidores configurados para el repositorio)

I’m from Argentina. In English (barely):
:: Synchronizing package databases…
Error: Not all databases could be synchronized (no servers configured for the repository)

Welcome to the forum :enos_flag: :enos:

Did you by any chance overwrite your mirrors file with mirrors.pacnew ?
If you did open up the welcome app and startup reflector-simple to create a new mirror list.

@gustavo.fiorentini It is OK, that you are from Argentina. It is not a problem for us if you post the complete output of the terminal. If we do not see the complete text after the command sudo pacman -Syu we can not analyse your problem. We only can speculate.
It seems to be the problem, that @keescase mentioned.

type
Lang=C sudo pacman -Syu

so those who only read English can see the issue and assist.

Hi @keescase .
I don’t think so, but its possible.
I will create a new mirror list with your indication. Thank you

Ok, I don’t know this option. Thanks!

Here again.
With reflector-simple my new mirrorr list:

With: reflector --verbose --protocol https --sort rate --latest 20 --download-timeout 5

Here again. Your right @keescase, I opened Welcome app and created new mirror list, that its above. I tried this after the firs error with command
sudo pacman -Syu

How can I fixed it, please?

Thera an announcement in Telegram:

Hi @keescase , thank you.
It’s a good solution. Now pacman works!
