No qt platform plugin could be initiliazed

Hi, I have various programs crashing during bootup and afterwards due to “no qt platform plugin could be initialized”. How can i fix that? Programs include baloo-file-extr, polkit-kde-authentication-agent, kalendarac, nextcloud, kglobalacceld and others

Here is a typical error message:

Cool, I might not be able to make much sense of it but it will help others out who know to advise you a lot better
EDIT - Semi wondering if deleting your cache and logging out and back in would help this sounds sort of like the weather widget issue the other day? (NOTE this is just a guess to be safe back up instead of delete - could also try with a new user)

The meta packages plasma-meta and kde-applications-meta were not installed. After installing those, the error messages are gone.

Good to see you figured it out, there may be a more minimal way but this is a great solution to it
