Flag icons not displayed in keyboard@cinnamon.org indicator when is checked the option show flags from the properties menu. Always showing letters.
The solution are to create a folder in your root directory with the name iso-flag-png at /usr/share/
and put in this folder the png icons flags that you like to use.
Search for free lags icons, choice and save the icons that you like to use in this folder and renaming like us.png, fr.png, de.png, gr.png, it.png.
