Using latest Endeavouros_Cassini_Nova-03-2023_R3 iso on USB stick for a ROG Asus motherboard with the intel i217-V network adapter.
Yes, I know I can install it and see if it works then, but I’m not hopeful if the installer is already giving me issues and I really want Plasma/KDE from the get-go, as Galileo was postponed. Hoping if anyone found a solution already.
You are amazing. This was driving me insane. For future generations; apparently the problem is that the LAN chipset has its own bios that remembers Wake-On-LAN and Power Management settings. Turning these off alone in your BIOS doesn’t help. So the solution was as follows;
Change the Adapter Settings → Ethernet Properties → Configure and go to Power Management. Disable all Power Saver Options and Wake on LAN checkmarks. Of course also in your BIOS.
