No device found

Greetings community,

I installed Fingerpring-GUI as guided on arch wiki but it says no device found.

lsusb output:

Blockquotesusb
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 06cb:00da Synaptics, Inc.
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 30c9:0014 Luxvisions Innotech Limited Integrated Camera
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 4423:0001 USB OPTICAL MOUSE
Bus 003 Device 005: ID 8087:0026 Intel Corp. AX201 Bluetooth
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

i also checked that by nano:

Blockquote /etc/xdg/autostart/

but there was empty space.

i also checked that Supported devices i did not find my device synaptics reader.

When i got that laptop Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Gen 2 it was pre-installed Windows 10 and it was working on it when i was touching on power button.

any idea?

Have you validated that the kernel supports your specific fingerprint hardware?

Which kernel are you using?

if the list for supported devices for fpgui doe snot show your device it will be that it is not supported … at least not by the default shipped drivers.
