I’m 5o’s ironworker learning and making STUFF. So far a new Dev i found that the world of devops is crazy. But, such is life. I enjoy pushing the envelope, doing this is no different. I am a terrible typist and terrible at grammer. I have been reading architectual blueprints for 20 years and can leverage that skill with this it appears. I’m currently inthrawled with making a Dev Desktop Env. I have found that Open Source was the way to go because the pilphering of ideas from the public is rampant. So, i have set ou to make something cool that can’t be gate kept. Anyway, I’ll be around.
thank you. Jerry

Hi there @jwl247 - All I can say is that it works as well for you as it does for me. I’ve been using EOS for more than 3 years now and it’s served me well.

Good to have you with us! Some of us have brains wired differently, some of us can read blueprints like they’re recipes for cooking, for some of us, language comes naturally, but whatever you’re doing, hoping you find the tools that work for you, enjoy the journey!
I read this and my light bulb came on. When you come from a world of fabricating stuff and making it work, then FOSS really isn’t that different, just a different set of tools. Great approach and perspective. Rock on.
