Yeah. Remove plasma5-applets-supergfxctl that is blocking your update. Then update the system. Then re-install the package

What command would I use to reinstall plasma5-applets-supergfxctl?

I’ve tried yay -S and sudo -S in root and gotten no where.

What does it show when you try to reinstall? You may have to cleanbuild it (if its from the AUR use yay)

Never use yay as root or with sudo!

Just

yay -S plasma5-applets-supergfxctl

should do.

You may need to cleanbuild it as mentioned by @smokey.
