I threw together an idea for a small redesign of the Endeavour OS logo; I understand that the logo is resembling sails on a ship and I also recognize that Endeavour OS is a sort of spiritual successor to the late Antergos OS. I kept the colors and themes best I could while hopefully making the logo a little more eye catching while also subtly integrating a little bit of Antergos’ design language. I know there’s not an ongoing forum for a new logo or anything, just is something I threw together for fun c: Thank you, everyone that contributes to this wonderful distro that i’m happy to call my home

While I like the idea of “spiritual successor/Antergos” integration. I’m not sure the EndeavourOS devs will be changing/altering the official logo anytime soon. Having said that, I’m not a fan of the tilted, off-center look. I much prefer more of a centered logo.
Welcome to EOS and the forums, - from a user-side perspective, - I use the EOS default icon on my launcher, - so when it’s skewed, it looks.. respectfully, very odd. Great to see more contributions though, keep em coming and enjoy the journey!
yea thats super valid >< the edit that unclespellbinder made where its just rotated to be straight is very tasteful and i think it do look better in that orientation
I think creativity should be rewarded so nice work.
My own opinion is tinkering with the colors (the distro not you. or maybe you.) the peach side has never agreed with me completely.

How is Endevour the spiritual successor of Antergos in design and ethos?

antergos was a similar distro to what endeavour is today in that its relatively barebones arch, just with an installer. i’m pretty sure antergos was more minimal than endeavour but im a big fan of the additions that the endeavour team have added.
it’s my understanding that some of the devs from antergos went on to work on endeavour but i dont have a great source on that, just hear-say. either way, they both fulfill a similar niche in my mind and im glad that endeavour is here to fill it c:
