New installation sometimes halts while attempting to boot: 'Mounting /tmp'

Hi! Linux noob here.

I’ve just installed Endeavour OS on a Star Labs LabTop Mk IV laptop. The computer has taken Manjaro and booted without issues, if that helps.

Sometimes, when booting the computer, it halts on the step ‘Mounting /tmp…’.

Workaround: hold down the power button and start up again. Some times it passes the step without a hitch.

Any suggestion on what to do to resolve the issue would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I’ve worked around the issue to reach a solution: I reinstalled Endeavour OS completely and chose grub as bootloader instead of the default option.
