installed KDE becaus cinnamon would not go for give errors, (fresh install) ? now i have KDE and also good but different with also downside… for example my 7-zip file not safe new edit’s ,first i need to unpack the file - changed it - then after again edit to the 7-zip file ? strange it works but not like suppose to normal with cinnamon i just safe the 7-zip file and no need for unpack the file first…. also my printer is working but the scanner refuse to be found for use ? very strange been struggling for some time with it and just gave up becaus not want to mess-up a good clean KDE install ,aslo like the new look ,features are looking different way so i decide to stick with KDE for some time now until i get tired from the downside… always been good for me cinnamon and no troubles almost ,am sure in time i decide to go back ;p
Without the installer log we will not be able to say something about the failing install, you installed KDE offline?
no KDE i could install online ,not sure why cinnamon did not want to work… already have download a new iso and made an ubs for install, but i stay little more longer on this KDE for have not the time for backup all my files again and fix everything back in the way i want it… (am sure all will be good when i finly do) thank you for you responding…
Ah i see you used old ISO and may failed to get the Hotfix for the nemo-preview package removal.
New ISO should work just fine for Cinnamon.
