Hi so my issue is basically that using nmcli and other tools to adjust network metrics doesnt cause consistent improvement like it did on vanilla arch and garuda so im wondering if there is some endeavoros specific reason that this would be occurring.
for context:
i have one lan network im connected to that has no internet connection as its just for local streaming and then i have a wifi connection for my actual internet. normally lan is automatically prioritized so ill use the command [nmcli c modify $networkname ipv4.route-metric (whatever number), and ill just adjust them accordingly. this has always worked fine but now im finding that itll work to some extent(if im alrdy connected to wifi first then connect to ethernet itll keep the proper hierarchy) but when i first boot my pc my priorities will not matter since everything connects at once and my lan will be prioritized, causing all my apps that autostart while using the internet to have connection issues at first which delays me getting to use my pc annoyingly.
ive also tried to use ifmetric too now and its the same problem. does anybody know what i can do and potentially have similar experiences?
