Network issues after update

network will become connected without internet in just the main boot, not the fallback, this persists through reboots until I boot the fallback. nothing seems to be wrong in the fallback. list of packages: https://pastebin.com/HX1YLW0i

I have the same issue. I can access network just not the internet. This happened after I did a update today. I cant access any internet on the fallback or the main. I tried to do a eos-shifttime but apparently it can not find any archives. UPDATE -------- I found that the update to netbird had caused my issue. I have stopped the auto start of netbird and now have internet access again.

It is not clear what exactly the issue is over here.
It is not clear whether you are referring to WiFi or wired LAN or some other connection.
It is not clear what DE you are using.
Finally it is not clear what is meant by main boot or the fallback. Are you referring to the boot menu options provided by GRUB or systemd-boot?
Please clarify these points.

If you the issue is with a WiFi connection, then in KDE, there is an option, “Connect automatically with priority” that has to be unchecked. Please refer to the screenshot given below. If this check box is selected and the WiFi SSID is being broadcast then the connection will happen automatically.

Now if the router has no internet and WiFi SSID is broadcasting then also the connection will happen. Ditto for wired LAN connection.
