Netflix Site Problem In Firefox

I’m having a problem, when i enter Netflix in the Firefox browser, it gives me " Looks like your browser, operating system, or device is not supported. Please make some updates to access Netflix. Learn more about updates and requirements here."
I’ve updated my system entirely, and also updated Firefox.

Is Firefox the problem or EndeavorOS’s problem that it wont work?

Is is probably Netflix itself reading your user agent.

It is working fine for me on Firefox but my Firefox user agent is reporting as Windows 10.

Yep, very likely either user agent or DNS/IP related.

Are you using a VPN in your browser or systemwide?
Sites that want your data don’t like that.

I think when Netflix detects a VPN, it gives you a more specific error. Something like “You seem to be using a VPN”

Yeah, probably. Or maybe that’s just a YouTube thing? I don’t actually use Netflix’s site, so I wouldn’t have experience there. But I know YouTube does it and asks me to sign in.

It always happens with some specific football-related accounts, though. Especially La Liga ones, so I’m guessing it’s because of ESPN.

As far as I know, Netflix hard blocks VPNs. It isn’t about data in Netflix’s case, it is about regional content restrictions. Netflix can track your data either way since you need to be logged in to use Netflix.

I am logged on, and it worked before, but i dont understand why it doesnt work right now

Oh, yes. That’s true. Just remembered that. Though Spotify does the same thing as far as content availability is concerned, but they don’t block you for using a VPN, and the content changes depending on the IP of the VPN.

@Index1062 Try clearing the site’s cache, then log back in to see if it works. You may have to close your browser just to make sure. Of course, if you normally clear the site’s cache on closing your browser, then this won’t make a difference.
